De exacte grenzen van Salland zijn niet duidelijk gedefinieerd. Over het algemeen wordt het gebied buiten Twente en de Kop van Overijssel als Salland beschouwd.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">De streek heeft een rijke geschiedenis. Deze geschiedenis wordt geassocieerd met de Sali\u00ebrs, een Frankische stam die later door de Saksen is verdreven.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Het landschap van Salland is gevormd door ijstijden en rivieren. Dit laat een gevarieerd landschap zien met de Sallandse Heuvelrug.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In Salland zijn de mensen gastvrij. Salland heeft veel toeristische attracties.
